What types of anti graffiti coatings do we offer?
Anti graffiti coatings are broadly divided into permanent, semi-permanent, temporary or sacrificial anti graffiti coating and nanotechnology-based anti graffiti coatings.
Semi-permanent anti-graffiti coatings or: sacrificial anti graffiti coatings
Semi-permanent anti-graffiti coatings are an excellent choice for several reasons. While they protect the surface against paint burn-in, they also protect it against dirt adhesion, algae and lichen growth and exhaust pollution deposits. Having said all this, it is interesting to note that such semi-permanent anti-graffiti coatings do not 'seal' the surface, which is particularly important in the context of mineral surfaces, as such these protective coatings allow brick or natural stone masonry to be vapour permeable, i.e. to breathe. Since these kinds of anti-graffiti coatings are wax-based, they are easily removed using warm water and a high-pressure cleaner, and any dirt, graffiti or other paint along with them. Permanent anti-graffiti coatings
A temporary anti-graffiti coating must be reapplied to the surface, after the graffiti has been removed. It is called sacrificial anti graffiti coatings precisely because we “sacrifice” the coating in order to remove the pollution and/or graffiti. This is not the case with permanent anti-graffiti coatings. Permanent coatings against graffiti can withstand repeated cleaning, but this requires the use of appropriate chemical graffiti removers, as this is the only way to ensure that, after cleaning, the surface will still be protected from graffiti for a long time. permanent anti graffiti coatings also need a primer to be applied beforehand. The upside is, of course, that a permanent anti-graffiti coating will last a long time and will endure many cleanings before it needs to be reapplied.
Nano coatings anti-graffiti
Nano anti-graffiti coatings represent some of the most advanced solutions in the field of anti-graffiti protection. Nano-based coatings penetrate even into the microscopic pores of the substrate and prevent the adhesion of paint and dirt. And cleaning a surface treated with a nano anti-graffiti coating is so much easier.
Is there anti-graffiti paint or graffiti proof paint?
