Mavrox® Roof coating WB

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Mavrox® roof coating Wb is a high quality waterborne roof tile coating based on a styrene/acrylate co-polymer.
Mavrox® Roofcoat Wb is suitable for colouring and waterproofing mineral roof tiles.
Mavrox® Roofcoat Wb makes old roof tiles look like new again and gives them long-term protection against the effects of sunlight, rain, heat, frost and pollution.
Mavrox® Roofcoat Wb is free of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and contains no plasticizers or other harmful substances.

APPLICATION

Mavrox® roof coating Wb is suitable for application on almost all types of concrete and clay roof tiles.
For application on glazed tiles and fibre cement/Eternit® roofing please contact your technical advisor.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

Ambient temperature: max. 30°C, minimal 10°C
Substrate temperature: max. 30°C, minimal 10°C
Relative air humidity: maximum 80% and 3°C above dew
point

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Clean soiled roof tiles with ALGEN REMOVER, FACADECLEAN HC and/or UNICLEAN LOW FOAMING.
2. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and dust free.
3. Protect glass and other parts not to be treated.
4. Stir Mavrox® roof coating Wb well before use.
5. Apply the coating using a brush, roller or airless sprayer with a consumption of approx. 200g/m2 (approx. 200 microns wet film thickness).
6. In general, sufficient coverage can be obtained with one coat. For optimum performance we recommend applying two coats.

DRYING

Dust-dry: approx. 30 minutes
Fully cured: 6 - 8 hours
Fully cured: after 4 - 7 days

This high-quality bucket consists of 100% recycled plastic, which means a saving of 95% on the use of fossil fuels!

THEORETICAL CONSUMPTION

On average 5 m2 per litre, per coat.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

In original unopened packaging at least 12 months. Store in a cool, frost-free place.
